Fashion / Runway shows can be especially challenging as everything needs to be aligned and have a precise color scheme and configuration. HK created pre event CAD layout designs in order to give client a thorough understanding of the exact outline and setup they would be getting. These resulted in a precise production setup and clean look.

Held in the parking lot of music venue Come and Take It Live, HK secured production elements including sound, staging, and lighting for a national caliber bill of artists (Anthrax, Kill Switch Engage, The Devil Wears Prada). We also helped secure permitting through the city and provided event consultation throughout the entire process.

Our first official project with our new AS2100 4X8ft. Bill Jax panels, this production really foreshadowed our new enhanced capabilities  as a truly efficient team by cutting setup time in half and thus enabling HK to dedicate more time to additional stage production elements.

For this project, HK wanted to showcase a large truss production that would truly overtake the amphitheater section in the heart of the beloved Hill Country Galleria. In order to do this, we configured a trussing system that went over the wooden pillars of the ampithreateres in house wooden overhang. With limited room to work with on both sides of stage, we designed a unique setup that flanked out the front truss section, while keeping the truss square in the center to remain symmetrical. This design also assisted in us being able to fit an overhead cover system that provided shading for our bands on a hot summer day.

In having to fit within very specific parameters and with a large degree of slopping street, HK configured a 16X20X2ft. stage with a 15 foot high truss system. We also included our heavy duty vinyl cover over the stage. With high winds on this day, HK brought in its in house ballast tank to meet code enforcement and handle the potentially bad weather. With just a 2 hour set up window, HK efficiently executed with the help of our amazing staff hands and by prepping a CAD layout along with a detailed run of show from initial load in to strike protocol.
